On July 11th and 12th, 2026, Golf Peralada will become the epicenter of Catalan amateur golf with the celebration of the Catalonia Absolute & 2nd Category Championship (WAGR).
A top-level championship, counting towards the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR), bringing together the best amateur players in an outstanding setting. A true sporting challenge, intense competition, and two days of elite golf.
The 18-hole course at Golf Club Peralada, renowned for its technical and demanding design, will test the consistency, strategy, and talent of the participants, delivering a high-level sporting spectacle both on and off the course.
The championship is open to amateur men and women with a valid license and active handicap, with limited spots based on sporting criteria. Players will be selected according to exact handicap order, with reserved places for invited players from the organizing club.
The competition will be played in Stroke Play Scratch format, with tee positions according to each category and tee times established under federative regulations.
