Competition description
On the 3rd and 4th of February, we will hold the Matchgolf Cup, a competition for amateur players over the age of 16 with a valid license and official handicap.
The Matchgolf Cup is composed of 2 phases:
The regular phase: including the "regular" as well as the "major" tournament events
The final phase: including 4 tournaments (check calendar www.matchgolf.cat/calendari)
- Competition: scoring system inspired by the american Fedexcup.
- Modality of play: Stableford for the "regular phase" and Medal play for the "final phase".
- Handicap categories: Lower Hcp (up to 13) and higher Hcp (from 13.1 to limited 26.4).
- Prizes per category: MatchGolf will reward all registered players of the "Club MatchGolf" with "loyalty prizes" in accordance with the disputed tournaments.
